Mom guilt has a way of showing up after bedtime. The snapped words, the extra screen time, the game you missed. You lie awake keeping score, and you're always losing.
Isaiah 40:11 pictures God as a shepherd who "will gently lead those who have their young." Gently. He knows what carrying little ones costs. Psalm 103:14 says he "remembers that we are dust"—he isn't surprised that you're tired and limited.
There's a difference between conviction and condemnation. If you need to apologize to your child, do it. That's a beautiful thing to model. But Romans 8:1 says there is "no condemnation" in Christ. And 1 John 3:20 says that even when your own heart condemns you, "God is greater than our heart."
His mercies are new every morning, and so is tomorrow. You don't have to earn a fresh start. You just have to receive it.
